About MH-CET

MH-CET or MAH-MBA/MMS-CET is the official state level entrance test for admission to MBA/MMS programs affiliated to universities in Maharashtra. The test, and the following admission process(CAP - Common Admission Process), is conducted by Maharashtra's Directorate of Technical Education (DTE).

The CET is the gateway to top colleges like SIMSREE and PUMBA. Many private colleges in Maharashtra also accept CET scores for their PGDM programs. Welingkar is one such notable college.

According to a DTE notification, 85% seats in the government-run and aided MBA/MMS institutes in the state and 65% seats in private unaided and minority institutes are filled through the MAH-MBA/MMS-CET. Another 15% seats is filled through the all India quota, which refers to students who appear in the nationally recognised tests, such as the CAT conducted by the IIMs, JMET conducted by the IITs, MAT conducted by the AIMA, XAT conducted by the XLRI, and ATMA conducted by the AIMS.

MAH MBA/MMS CET is held once in a year, generally in the month of February or March.
